There is one other crucial piece of evidence to support Speight's account over Gammage's, besides the greater detail written by Speight. Speight mentioned that Isaac was arrested at his home in Chapel Lane, Bingley (even the fact that the residence was, 50 years later when his book was written, a fish shop). Isaac did indeed live in Chapel Lane around that time, according to the 1851 census). Speight would not have known that without having accurate details of the incident. Incidently, Speight also mentions that Isaac forcefully resisted arrest.
