Some great history books and DVDs are being launched between now and Christmas. I’ve had a look through Amazon’s future releases section and come up with a list of recommended titles.
Gory, perhaps, but I would single out Jamie Bronstein’s Caught in the Machinery: Workplace Accidents and Injured Workers in Nineteenth Century Britain for special mention.
Although I haven’t come across any new releases in the field of Chartism this Christmas, there are still a lot of great Chartist books out there that you may not have read, including Malcolm Chase’s magnificent Chartism a New History and Robert Hall’s Voices of the People.
